The COVID Project
NHS workers have had their budgets cut every year for the past 10 years by a government that calls them essential workers and heroes. This is the same government actively fighting their appeals for pay rises and fair treatment. Despite underfunding, a lack of essential equipment, and at times unsafe working conditions, the NHS’s people continue to provide essential care and save lives. In an impossible situation, they deliver their work in the best way they can.
